We began as Frank W. Sloan Electric Company in San Diego in 1938. Bob Gray bought the company in 1968 and Jerry Gray, the current owner, purchased it from his father in 1985.

Our name has changed over the years – from Frank W. Sloan Electric Company to Sloan Electric to Sloan Electromechanical Service & Sales, our current company designation – but our operation has been continuous for the last 70 years. Many of our technicians have been with us for more than 25 years.

Our shop, which includes an additional 20,000 square feet of yard space, is located conveniently close to San Diego’s major north-south and east-west freeways.
